Who we are
YOX is a sports fan platform that lets you log the events you've attended or watched and turn them into a personal collection of stamps, stickers, trophies and stats.
This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect when you use YOX, how we use it, and the choices you have. If anything here is unclear, email privacy@yox.fan.
What we collect
We only collect what we need to run YOX:
- Account data โ email, password (hashed), display name, avatar choice.
- Profile data โ bio, favourite teams/sports, privacy settings.
- Activity โ events you log, stamps/stickers/badges unlocked, reactions.
- Uploads โ photos you attach to events.
- Technical data โ device, browser, IP, basic analytics needed to keep the service running and secure.
How we use it
- To run your account and your collection.
- To unlock stamps, stickers, trophies and stats based on what you log.
- To show your profile to other users in line with your privacy settings.
- To keep YOX safe โ preventing fraud, abuse and spam.
- To improve the product and fix bugs.
- To contact you about your account, important updates or things you've opted into.
We don't sell your personal data.
Public profiles & privacy settings
Your profile can be public, friends-only or private. You control this in your settings. When your profile is public, your display name, avatar, collection highlights and logged events may be visible to anyone โ on YOX or via search engines.
You can change visibility at any time. Hiding a profile removes it from public view, but cached copies on third-party services may take time to disappear.
Photos & uploads
When you attach photos to an event, you confirm that you have the right to share them and that they don't break our Community Guidelines. Uploaded photos may be visible to others depending on your profile and event visibility settings.
You can delete photos at any time from the relevant event in your collection.
How long we keep it
We keep account and collection data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove personal data within a reasonable period, except where we need to keep limited records for legal, security or fraud-prevention reasons.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the data we hold about you.
- Correct or update inaccurate data.
- Delete your account and associated data.
- Export your data.
- Object to or restrict certain uses of your data.

Children
YOX isn't designed for children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we'll remove it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as YOX evolves. We'll change the date at the top, and for material changes we'll let you know in-app or by email.
