Community Guidelines

YOX is fan-first. These are the rules that keep it real, respectful and worth collecting in.

Be real

YOX is built on real fan history. Only log events you actually attended or watched. Don't claim moments that aren't yours.

Faking attendance, stamps or stats undermines the whole collection โ€” for you and everyone else.

Keep uploads relevant

Photos and notes attached to an event should actually relate to that event:

  • Crowd shots, your view, the stadium, the moment.
  • Tickets, programmes, scarves, kits.
  • The fans you were with.

Off-topic content, ads or random media will be removed.

Respect other people

Treat other fans the way you'd want to be treated in the stand. Disagree about teams, players and decisions โ€” but don't attack the person.

No hateful, abusive or illegal content

Zero tolerance for:

  • Hate speech or slurs based on race, religion, gender, sexuality, disability or nationality.
  • Threats, harassment, doxxing or incitement to violence.
  • Sexual content, content involving minors, or anything illegal.

Respect copyright and privacy

  • Only upload photos and content you have the right to share.
  • Don't post identifiable photos of other people without their consent.
  • Don't share private information โ€” yours or anyone else's.
  • Don't repost broadcaster footage you don't own.

No spam or manipulation

  • No promotional spam, link farming or unsolicited advertising.
  • No fake accounts, vote rigging or leaderboard manipulation.
  • No automated activity, scraping or bulk actions without permission.

Don't abuse the platform

Don't try to break, exploit, reverse-engineer or circumvent YOX, its security, its rate limits or its moderation systems. Found a bug? Email security@yox.fan โ€” we'd rather hear from you than read about it later.

Moderation & enforcement

When something breaks these guidelines we may:

  • Remove the content.
  • Reverse stamps, stickers, trophies or stats earned in bad faith.
  • Restrict features on the account.
  • Suspend or permanently ban the account.

For serious or repeated breaches, action can be taken without warning.

Reporting issues

If you see something that breaks these guidelines:

  • Use in-app reporting where available.
  • Or email safety@yox.fan with a link or screenshot.

We take every report seriously and protect the identity of reporters.
